Congressional candidate Scott Baugh: Effective Leadership Needed to End Orange County Crime Wave

In honor of National Crime Prevention Month, congressional candidate for district 47 Scott Baugh discussed on X (the platform previously known as Twitter) a need to address the crime wave happening across Orange County and Southern California.

“October is National Crime Prevention Month, and now is as good a time as ever to address the crime wave destroying our communities right here in Orange County and around the country,” Baugh wrote.

“We need leadership that will put people over agenda, and work to keep our neighborhoods safe and Law Enforcement funded.”

Baugh went on to further state that California has seen a 200 percent uptick in violent crime after zero-bail policy took place.

In Orange County specifically, high-end department stores were hit by mob-style burglaries in the summer, with $100,000 worth of designer handbags being stolen from the Gucci store in South Coast Plaza.

In his run for congress, Scott Baugh has been endorsed by Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes.
